A Princess Party...

Once upon a time there was a princess named Addie Reese. She had to turn 5 sooner or later, so her friends and family came to celebrate the milestone one Saturday afternoon.

She had a cake fit for a princess thanks to her LiLi. This little princess was in love with her cake as soon as it came in the door. A cake in the shape of a castle... and it was pink!!!

The friends and family came. Little girls dressed in sparkly gowns and crowns. Little boys dressed in ties, capes, and we even had one Prince Charming come down from his kingdom of Franklin. We decorated crowns and tried on Princess Addie's gown collection.

Drew is not sure if he wants to be a princess or prince??? He is sure of one thing... he does not want to miss a thing.

After some play and fun with friends, Queen Ashley decided it was time for a sugar high. Princess Addie made a wish... hard to believe there are 5 candles on that cake!

Has she lost her glass slipper???

Princess Addie planned this game of pin the crown on Belle the night before. She colored the picture and helped me cut out the crowns. It was a blast watching the little princesses peek from the blindfold.

But the highlight was King Kyle playing and "running" into the door.

Next on the party list was the castle pinata. We had a plastic bat at first, but these little dainty princesses could not hurt the castle. So King Kyle brought out the heavy artillery... the golf club.

It did the trick.

Present time. Princess Addie had three present requests for her birthday. So we would not forget, she made her royal parents a list with check boxes next to the requests

  • A pink bible
  • A jewelry box
  • An American Girl Doll Outfit

Do you notice that Princess Addie has traded in her ballgown for PJs? She is fading fast.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRINCESS ADDIE!!!!!
